A couple weeks ago I shared a look into my makeup bag this Fall. But what is makeup without a bit of skincare!
Here in the Mid West we can get really cold, which means drier skin from head to toe. Today I will be sharing my favorite products and tips to keeping skin moisturized all winter long!
Oils
Cracked skin is the worst, my Rejuveniqe oil does wonders. Say goodbye to dry and itchy skin this season. This oil is also great for hair, cuticles, lengthening mascara's shelf life and MORE!

Moisturize
Right after you shower, immediately apply your moisturizers. I start with my face, I am prone to acne so I have been loving the Be Purified line from MONAT. I also make sure to use any serums or creams before applying my moisturizer. I learned that you want to apply that last so that you can lock in all of the moisture.

Hydrating Hair Masques
Hair masques are great for more than just self care days. They are great for repairing, strengthening and moisturizing our hair and scalp further. Our scalp is skin and we shouldn't deny these treatments in the winter time. I love this Advanced Hydrating Masque

Shorter Showers
I know, it can be difficult when it's freezing. First thing in the morning I just want to stand in the hot water as long as possible. But our skin will thank us later, if we shorten our showers.

You Are What You Eat
Yes, changing what is in your diet can help hydrate your skin. Stick to rich healthy fats: avocados, fish, nuts... Oh and don't forget to stay hydrated throughout the day, by drinking plenty of water.

Add Moisture to Your Environment
We need more moisture in our dry environments. Air conditioners and electronics, alone, are dehydrating us. Add in frigid air outside... it's no wonder we have cracked and scaly hands and legs! Add a humidifier to your workspace or living area and improve the quality of your skin at the same time!

This winter, stay warm, stay healthy and stay hydrated/moisturized. Your skin deserves the very best, so take care!
